भूप राघवेन्द्र षट्पदि

जय सप्त द्वीपा मेदिनीपति रूप धारक नरहरे।

मन वचन अगम विकार वर्जित अगुण जन हित तन धरे।।१।।

जय‌ पूर्ण विधु सुंदर वदन‌ जलजात नयन विशाल से।

कुण्डल मकर वर मुकुट दमके तिलक दामिनी भाल से।।२।।

जय जनकजा सह रत्न पीठासीन कार्मुक कर लिये।

सौमित्रि द्वय धर चंवर मारुति भरत लोचन पद दिये।।३।।

केयूर कंकण हार मणिमय पीत पट भूषित किये 

छवि रुप क्षीरोदधि सुधा रस प्रकट सुंदर तन लिये।। ४।।

नक्षत्र स्वाति युत जलद चातक अवध हित रघुपति।

शत वर्ष पंच अकाल अवधी शुक्ति- मुक्ता मन -रति।। ५।।

आदित्य छवि नर भूप की यह तिमिर पातक दल दले।

प्रति रोम कूपे कोटि अण्ड कटाह जिसके नित पले।।६।।

भावार्थ:

हे सात द्वीपों वाली पृथ्वी के राजा का रूप धारण करने वाले  आपकी जय हो । आप  मन वाणि के लिए अगम, विकार हीन और निर्गुण हैं, भक्तों के लिए शरीर  धारण किये हुए हैं।।१।।

पूर्ण चन्द्रमा के समान सुंदर मुख ,विशाल से कमल नयन वाले ,मकराकृति कुण्डल ,श्रेष्ठ मुकुट और भाल पर तिलक रूपी द्युति वाले की जय हो! ।।२।।

सीता सहित रत्न पीठासीन धनुर्धारी ,सुमित्रा के दोनों पुत्रों , पैरों पर दृष्टि गड़ाए भरत और हनुमान जी की जय! ।।३।।

 छवि ही क्षीर सागर  है ।उसका अमृतरस ही केयूर कंकण, मणिमय हार और पीताम्बर को भूषित करने के लिए  शरीर धारण करके प्रकट होगया है।। ४।।

अयोध्या रूप चातक के लिए राम  ही स्वाति नक्षत्र युक्त मेघ है। ५०० वर्ष अकाल का समय था। मन ही सीप है जिसमें (इस  जल से बना) प्रेम  ही मोती है।। ५।।

यह राजा की छवि पाप समूह रूपी अंधेरे के लिए आदित्य है। इसके एक एक रोम कूप में कोटि-कोटि ब्रह्मांड पलते हैं।। ६।।

English 

Glory to You  the King who has assumed the form ruling over the seven islands of the earth!

You are beyond the reach of mind and speech, free from all impurities, and without attributes,

yet, for the sake of Your devotees, You have taken on a divine form. (1)

Hail to You, whose face shines like the full moon,

whose lotus-like eyes are broad and radiant,

who wears fish-shaped earrings, a splendid crown,

and a shining tilak on Your forehead! (2)

Glory to You, O bow-bearing Lord, seated upon a jeweled throne beside Sita;

with the two sons of Sumitra standing nearby,

and Bharat and Hanuman gazing steadfastly upon Your holy feet! (3)

Your divine form itself is like the ocean of milk;

the nectar from that ocean has taken a form adoring  armlets, bracelets,

gem-studded garlands, and the yellow robe .(4)

For Ayodhya  likened to the thirsty chataka bird —

You, O Ram, are the rain-bearing cloud under the star Swati.

Period of  five hundred years  was a drought 

and the mind, like a shell, has now received Your love -

the pearl formed from that heavenly rain. (5)

This royal form of Yours is the radiant sun (Aditya) 

that dispels the darkness of sin.

In every pore of whose  body dwell countless universes-

innumerable worlds sustained within . (It's not an ordinary king) (6)
