देखो स्यन्दन चढ़े मुरारि

सह भगिनी संकर्षण सुंदर त्रिभुवन मंगलकारी।।१।।

लवण सिंधु तट जन समुद्र युत मधुर प्रेममय वारि।

बढ़े निरख सित दूज जेठ त्रय शर्वरीश सुखकारी।।२।।

अगम गिरा गोतीत निगम शिर वपुष् काठमय धारी।

चले भवन निज त्याग भगत हित त्रिविध ताप भय हारी।।३।।

कंपित क्षमा गगन दिवि मण्डल पूरित जय रव भारी।

जलद अबीर सुमन वर्षा जल लुप्त भानु तिमिरारि।।४।।

भूधर नील विराजित हलधर केशव सह नर नारी।

राम चरण सरसिज रति मांगे तुमसे 'आदि' भिखारी।।५।।

भावार्थ -

 देखो ! तीनों लोकों का मंगल करने वाले सुंदर श्रीकृष्ण अपनी बहन सुभद्रा और बलराम के साथ रथ पर चढ़े हैं।।१।।

 खारे समुद्र के तट पर  एक जन समुद्र ज्येष्ठ शुक्ल द्वितीया को उदित हुए तीन सुखकारी पूर्ण चंद्रों को देखकर बढ़ रहा है जिसका जल मधुर और प्रेम रूप है।।२।।

(पूर्णिमा के दिन खारे समुद्र में  हलचल होती है पर यहां ज्येष्ठ शुक्ल द्वितीया को ही तीन पूर्ण चंद्र उदित हो गये जिनको देखकर मधुर जल युक्त जन समुद्र बढ़ रहा है)

जो वाणी के अविषय हैं , इन्द्रियों के परे हैं, वेदों का शिरोभाग (वेदांत सिद्धांत हैं) वे ही त्रिविध ताप और भय हरने वाले प्रभु काष्ठमय शरीर धारण कर, भक्तों के लिए अपने भवन से निकले हैं।।३।।

भारी जय घोष से भरे हुए पृथ्वी आकाश और देवलोक कंपित हो उठे हैं। अबीर  के बादलों और पुष्पों की   वर्षा में  सूर्य भी लुप्त से हो गये हैं ।।४।।

हे नील गिरि पर विराजमान बलभद्र श्रीकृष्ण और सुभद्रा देवी, ये आदि भिखारी है जो आपसे श्रीराम के चरण कमल में प्रेम की भीख मांगता है।।५।।

English meaning 

Behold! The beautiful Shri Krishna, who brings auspiciousness to all the three worlds, has ascended the chariot along with his sister Subhadra and brother Balarama. (1)

On the shore of the salty ocean, a sea of people surges forward on the second day of the bright fortnight of Jyeshtha, having witnessed the rising of three blissful full moons, whose waters are sweet and made of pure love. (2)

(Note: On full moon days, the salty ocean usually stirs with tides, but here, on just the second day of the bright half of Jyeshtha, three full moons—Krishna, Balarama, and Subhadra—have risen, and the crowd, like a sweet ocean, swells joyfully.)

Those who are beyond speech, beyond the senses, the very essence of the Vedas—the Lord who removes the threefold miseries and all fears—has taken on a wooden form and emerged from His abode for the sake of His devotees. (3)

The Earth, sky, and heavens tremble with the thunderous shouts of victory. In the shower of colored powders and flowers, even the sun appears hidden from view. (4)

O Balabhadra, Shri Krishna, and Devi Subhadra—residing upon the blue mountain—this humble beggar Aadi stands before you, pleading for the alms of love for the lotus feet of Shri Ram. (5)
