विबुध समाज नटराज के दरस हित वादक बना है भीड़ कुधर पे भारी है।।
चपल चरण तल मारे हर थल पर उमंग तरंग युत भव सिंधु वारि है।
दिग्गज सहित मूर्छित अहिराज मन छवि सुरराज की सकल मल हारी है।।१।।
पिंगल जटा विशाल मख उपवीत व्याल दहन उडुप रवि नयन उघारे हैं।
भूति मरघट की विराजे वर गौर तन नर के कपाल उर माल से संवारे हैं।।
शोणित खचित करि केसरी अजिन पट चंड बाहु दंड दस आयुध को धारे हैं।
दूज इन्दु सिर गल गरल विनोद मन नाचे नटराज तीन ताप आज हारे हैं।।२।।
नाटक सकल जग नट एक नटराज आठ भाव रूप आठ मूरत दिखाते हैं।
एकरस ज्ञान माया बस नवरस भान जिसको जनाए नट वे हि जान पाते हैं।।
मूढ़ मन 'आदि' इस नट के चरण पड़ यह अनुकूल रघुनाथ मिल जाते हैं।
तज मद मान भज अंबिका पति ईशान कह नेति नेति वेद मौन में समाते हैं।।३।।
Meaning
Verse 1
On the lofty silver mountain peak (Kailasa)
Lord Shiva (the destroyer of the cities) dances joyfully with his attendants.
the gods have gathered as musicians to have a glimpse of Nataraja,
crowds fill every direction of the mountain.
His swift feet strike the ground again and again,
sending waves of enthusiasm across the ocean of worldly existence.
Even mighty elephants of directions and the serpent king shesha fall unconscious.
Oh mind ! this form of the king of gods removes all impurities.
Verse 2
His tawny, matted locks spread widely;
a sacred serpent rests upon him like a sacrificial thread.
Agni Soma and Surya blaze as his eyes.
Ash from the cremation ground adorns his fair body.
Garlands made from human skulls decorate his chest,
and he wears the skin of a lion and elephant drenched in blood as his garment.
With weapons in 10 powerful arms,
With the crescent moon on his head poison in his throat, and joy in his heart dances Nataraja, defeating the three kinds of suffering (Adhidaikivik Adhyatmik and Adhibhautik)
Verse 3
The whole world is a play, and the only Nataraja is actor,
who in his play shows 8 bhaavas as 8 murtis (Prithvi, Jala, Agni, Vaayu, Akash, Aatma, Surya , Chandra )
One undivided Jñana becomes Jñana of 9 rasas [ Shringara (love/beauty), Hasya (laughter/joy), Karuna (sorrow/compassion), Raudra (anger/rage), Veera (heroism/courage), Bhayanaka (fear/terror), Bibhatsa (disgust), Adbhuta (wonder/surprise), and Shanta (peace/tranquility) ] via maya .
Only those whom the divine actor himself reveals can truly understand this mystery.
O foolish mind, says the poet Aadi , fall at the feet of this divine dancer—
then the grace of Rama will also be attained.
Abandon pride and ego, worship the consort of Parvati,
for the Vedas themselves finally fall silent, saying only “not this, not this,” before his infinite nature.

महादेव साथ श्री रघुनाथ को रिझायो है।
ऐसो अनुपम भाव ऋचा सो प्रवाह यामें
मोको बताये साँची कहा दर्श ऐसो पायो है.
